[0:05] track your keyword rankings because when
[0:08] you do search engine optimization and
[0:10] build backlinks to your site you want to
[0:12] know if all these efforts are moving
[0:15] your site up in the search results so

[0:35] okay there are actually tons of
[0:36] different rank tracking tools and if you
[0:38] Google for rank
[0:41] tracker you'll find quite a few
[0:44] different options and each of them has
[0:47] its pros and cons but if you're using
[0:51] HS we have our own tool for tracking
[0:54] your keyword positions which is called
[0:57] positions tracker and it can be found at
[1:00] your
[1:00] dashboard under the positions tracker
[1:04] tab so as you can see for every website
[1:08] that I have added to the
[1:10] dashboard I can track the keyword
[1:13] positions so here are the keyword
[1:15] positions for my website called tweet
[1:17] this.com uh as you can see the First
[1:20] Column shows different keywords that I'm
[1:22] interested in then I can put different
[1:25] locations because as you may know Google
[1:27] will show you different positions based
[1:30] on the location where you're searching
[1:32] for this keyword then you see the actual
[1:35] position in Google then mobile rank
[1:38] because when you're searching on your
[1:40] mobile device the rank might be
[1:42] different and of course the actual URL
[1:45] that is ranking at this position okay
[1:48] let's say I need to add a few more
[1:50] keywords to this list to find out how
[1:53] well my website is ranking for these
[1:56] keywords in Google so I click the button
[1:58] add keywords and and there's a field
[2:00] where I put my keywords for example
[2:04] tweet quotes and then I I have to
[2:07] specify the
[2:09] location let's track this keyword in
[2:14] United States and let's also track it
[2:17] just for the sake of this tutorial in
[2:20] United
[2:23] Kingdom okay and I click
[2:27] done so here's what we have now here's
[2:31] the position of the Tweet quotes keyword
[2:34] in the United States it shows me
[2:37] position number eight and the same
[2:39] keyword tweet quotes in the United
[2:42] Kingdom position number 11 so as you can
[2:44] see I rank a little worse in the United
[2:48] Kingdom and the last cool feature that I
[2:51] wanted to show you is the history chart
[2:53] that you can open by clicking this
[2:55] little button on the right side of your
[2:58] report
[3:00] so this is the progress chart for tweet
[3:03] this plug-in keyword and you can pretty
[3:06] much see the positions history starting
[3:09] from the 9th of November which is when
[3:12] this keyword was added to the tool and
[3:14] pretty much till today this kind of
[3:16] report is especially valuable when
[3:18] you're doing SEO for a client and you
[3:21] need to show him how your efforts are
[3:24] pushing his website up in Google search
[3:27] results
[3:38] so this was a pretty short episode but I
