[0:06] that goes like this. How to find popular
[0:09] link to content within a niche. You're
[0:12] watching episode number seven of the
[0:15] oversimplified

[0:30] What you see on my screen right now is
[0:32] content explorer tool by hrefs. And
[0:35] that's pretty much the whole answer to
[0:37] the question how to find popular links
[0:40] to content in any niche. So for example,
[0:43] let's put some keywords here. I want to
[0:45] search for uh content marketing
[0:50] and I click search.
[0:52] content explorer gets back to me with a
[0:54] list of most popular articles based on
[0:57] the keyword that I was searching for.
[1:00] And since we're looking for the kind of
[1:02] content that generated the most links,
[1:05] what I'm going to do with this list is
[1:07] sort it by uh the referring domains
[1:10] column. To do that, I just click on that
[1:13] column. That's it. This is the list of
[1:16] articles in the C content marketing
[1:18] niche uh that attracted the biggest
[1:22] number of links. As you can see, the uh
[1:24] article uh that is first in this list
[1:28] has generated links from 1,600
[1:33] uh different domains. Uh let's click on
[1:36] that article and see what it looks like.
[1:40] Okay, let's skim through this article
[1:43] real quick and see what makes it so
[1:46] unique. Actually, as far as you can see,
[1:48] it's quite short. And I guess what
[1:51] stands out for me is this YouTube video,
[1:54] history of content marketing, and some
[1:56] kind of uh infographic.
[2:01] So, what you might want to do is create
[2:03] your own page that would give a better
[2:06] answer to the question, what is content
[2:09] marketing? And then you can go ahead and
[2:12] reach out to all these 1,600
[2:16] people who link to original resource.
[2:19] And as you may already know, with Hrefs,
[2:23] it's super easy to find all the back
[2:25] links that point to this page. I just
[2:28] hover over this little icon and go to
[2:32] backlinks report of site explorer and I
[2:35] get get a list of all these people who
[2:38] were linking to this original piece of
[2:40] content. So as you can see with the
[2:43] content explorer tool by hrefs you can
[2:47] easily find the uh most shared or most
[2:51] linked to content uh within any niche or
[2:54] relevant to any keyword. And actually
[2:57] you can also plug any domain name into
[2:59] this search field of content explorer
[3:02] and get a list of the most popular
[3:05] content or most popular pages on this
[3:08] website. For example, if you want to
[3:10] know if this page what is content
[3:13] marketing uh is the most popular page uh
[3:17] on the domain
[3:18] contentmarketinginstitute.com.
[3:20] You just copy this domain name, put it
[3:23] into Href's content explorer and hit
[3:26] search. Then you sort the search results
[3:29] by the amount of referring domains just
[3:31] by clicking on this column. And what you
[3:34] actually see is that this article
[3:36] appears to be really the most linked to
[3:40] on this website. The second best is 214
[3:44] B2B content marketing research
[3:47] strategies key to effectiveness. but it
[3:49] has two times less links than this first
[3:53] piece. And I guess that's it for today's

[4:02] you find the most shared or the most
[4:05] linked to content in any niche. And then
[4:08] you can put this piece of content into
[4:10] site explorer and find all back links
