[0:00] Imagine making $150,000 with just 2,000
[0:03] organic visits per month. They own the
[0:05] entire market. That's absolutely crazy.
[0:08] The formula, take a traditionally
[0:10] offline business online, then monopolize
[0:13] search results. They've owned all the
[0:14] clicks in Google since 2022. That's
[0:16] exactly what hiregoats.com pulled off.
[0:19] And in this video, we're breaking down
[0:21] the exact SEO strategy behind it and how
[0:24] you can copy it to dominate your own
[0:26] niche. But first, let's break down the
[0:28] site. just hiregoats.com. The complete
[0:31] directory of goats working on
[0:32] landscapes. They're probably renting
[0:34] goats somewhere. And then there's just
[0:37] like this clear sponsorship thing. I
[0:39] have a feeling this is all owned by the
[0:41] same person. Yeah, goats on the goat.
[0:44] Exact same design pretty much. It's like
[0:46] goats here. Same colors of buttons, I
[0:49] think. So that means that this is like a
[0:52] network of sites. All right. So let's
[0:54] see how they're ranking. So, if I Google
[0:56] rent a goat, they are number one. And
[0:58] oh, goats on the go is number two. So,
[1:01] they actually own the entire SER, which
[1:04] is just mad. Anyone who's going to rent
[1:06] a goat and anyone who's going to search
[1:07] it online, which is pretty much everyone
[1:09] that's not word of mouth, they're going
[1:11] to end up somehow going through Goats on
[1:13] the Go or one of their affiliates. I can
[1:15] see this being like a legit huge
[1:18] business. You never know from the look
[1:20] of their site, though. All right, so
[1:21] let's build them up in hrefs now and
[1:23] really see what's going on under the
[1:24] hood. They get around 1,900 monthly
[1:26] organics. It starts to rise around April
[1:30] and starts to go down in the fall. These
[1:32] spikes are all about seasonality. This
[1:34] is a very clear trend line. So right now
[1:36] is March 19th. So we have 1791 there and
[1:41] it's not done yet. March is not done
[1:42] yet. So I think that they're actually
[1:44] going to go even higher in the summer
[1:46] months here. So, if we change the search
[1:49] volume to an average search volume,
[1:52] year-over-year, there's a very clear
[1:54] trend line that is going up and to the
[1:56] right. And I think that kind of shows
[1:58] either that a they're becoming more
[2:00] visible through search engines like
[2:02] Google or hiring goats is becoming a lot
[2:05] more popular. So, 1,900 per month is is
[2:08] quite good. And so, let's add on some
[2:11] competitors cuz they also own goats
[2:14] onthe-go.com. in goats on the goat
[2:16] traffic also gets around 1500. So
[2:19] they're getting like 4,000 monthly
[2:21] visits during peak season of people who
[2:23] want to rent a goat. Like if you think
[2:25] about the commerciality of rent a goat,
[2:28] people are there to actually spend
[2:30] money. Let's take a look at their top
[2:33] pages and see which pages are actually
[2:35] generating traffic for them. The
[2:38] majority of their traffic goes to their
[2:40] homepage and it's because of queries
[2:42] like rent a goat, goat rental near me,
[2:44] even goat landscaping. They're in
[2:46] position three. That's pretty wild.
[2:48] Goats for rent to eat weeds near me.
[2:51] Like these are real queries that people
[2:53] are searching for. And there's nobody
[2:55] else that's trying to rank for these,
[2:57] especially with experience. They've
[2:59] owned all the clicks in Google since
[3:00] 2022. So for like 3 years, all goat
[3:03] rentals have been going through this
[3:04] company in some way, shape, or form. and
[3:06] you'd never know it because they only
[3:07] get like 1,900 monthly organics. But
[3:09] when you combine it with goats on the
[3:10] go, things start to look very, very
[3:13] different. The deeper I dug into the
[3:15] site, the more I realized there was zero
[3:18] competition. But why? Was it because
[3:21] there's no money in renting goats, or
[3:23] was the person behind the site some kind
[3:25] of low-key SEO genius? Turns out it was
[3:28] neither. What he was really doing was
[3:31] building leverage. Okay, so with
[3:33] hireergoats.com, it doesn't look like
[3:35] they're actually making money from it,
[3:37] but instead they're just using it for
[3:39] visibility. Their money seems to be
[3:41] coming from goats on the go. So, let's
[3:44] find a herd. Ah, this is interesting.
[3:47] So, affiliate directory, we can see here
[3:49] that they have multiple locations or
[3:52] something like that, but the locations
[3:53] are probably just affiliates. Oh, yeah.
[3:55] You know, I think that these are
[3:56] actually legit like real families that
[3:58] are running goat businesses. Okay, so
[4:01] they have 70 goat grazing entrepreneurs
[4:04] that have joined the goats on the go
[4:06] community. Affiliates use goats on the
[4:08] goat trademarks and receive training and
[4:11] support from the company's founders and
[4:14] from each other. They're not even trying
[4:16] to rent goats. The money is coming from
[4:19] bringing on affiliates. It's basically
[4:21] coaching. It's business coaching uh for
[4:23] a very specific niche. And so that's
[4:25] what their business is. It's all about
[4:27] finding people who have goats and who
[4:29] are interested in starting a business or
[4:31] making more money from it, helping them
[4:32] with a structure and all the different
[4:34] things that a farmer might not be super
[4:36] familiar with. To be profitable, we
[4:38] recommend a minimum of 20 goats and 30
[4:40] to 50 is often ideal. How much does a
[4:42] goat
[4:43] cost? 75 and $200. That's pretty cheap.
[4:46] I wouldn't mind having a goat. That
[4:48] would be dope. I wonder if I could start
[4:50] a goat grazing business. Let's see. How
[4:53] much does Goats on the Go affiliate
[4:56] cost? I am going to find out how much
[4:58] they make. Man, I love the internet. In
[5:00] 2016, Goats on the Go launched its
[5:02] affiliate program and recruited its
[5:04] first four goat grazing entrepreneurs,
[5:06] paying us $2,000 per year. Goats on the
[5:09] Go has 70 affiliates that are paying at
[5:11] least $2,000 per year. In 2024, they
[5:14] changed their annual license fee to
[5:16] $2,400. There's also a onetime
[5:18] onboarding fee of $500 and a 2-year
[5:21] minimum commitment. That's over $300,000
[5:24] in a 2-year period teaching people how
[5:26] to run a goat rental business. What's
[5:28] brilliant about this model is that
[5:30] they've taken a business that
[5:31] traditionally only existed offline and
[5:33] monopolize search results so they get a
[5:36] piece of the entire pie. But his
[5:38] business model has one big weakness, and
[5:40] it's an opportunity they haven't tapped
[5:42] into yet. In fact, I saw a lot of
[5:44] different opportunities here that gave
[5:46] me a crazy idea. I'm going to send them
[5:48] an email. I I feel like I have to buy it
[5:50] or at least try. Interested in selling
[5:54] your site. Hi there. I think you've
[5:57] built a great site and am interested in
[6:01] taking over. Are you open to discussing
[6:04] the sale of
[6:06] hiregoats.com and send? Now, I just had
[6:10] to wait for his response. But while we
[6:12] wait, let's talk about how they can
[6:14] double their revenue. Here's what I
[6:16] think that they can do way better. Yeah.
[6:18] So, I think the first thing I would do
[6:20] is to completely revamp the UX here.
[6:23] Like, it's really tough to know what
[6:25] they're doing. But the reason why this
[6:27] web page exists is for their customers,
[6:31] for their training clients. And so, I
[6:33] would make it much better to actually
[6:35] help boost business for them. Uh, and
[6:37] that really comes down to user
[6:38] experience. They already have all the
[6:40] traffic in the world. But like, as a
[6:42] first-time user coming to the site, I
[6:45] didn't really know what to do. Like even
[6:46] if I go hire goats in the US, like why
[6:48] do they have one from Massachusetts if
[6:50] there's nothing in here? Why aren't they
[6:52] double promoting their their affiliates
[6:54] on goats on the go? So that is
[6:57] definitely something that I would do.
[6:59] Now, in terms of the monetization
[7:00] aspect, I think that there's actually a
[7:02] lot of room for growth here to even
[7:05] double their income. So, first of all, I
[7:07] would increase prices because the
[7:09] service that they're offering is
[7:12] basically the lifeblood to these
[7:14] businesses. I would imagine on the goats
[7:16] on the go site, they get a landing page,
[7:18] but like I would really want to beef
[7:20] these up. I would really want to make a
[7:22] great experience for these people so
[7:23] that they can truly just focus on their
[7:26] business. As a result of that, the
[7:28] owners of Goats on the Go can actually
[7:29] charge more. I would be charging at
[7:31] least double bringing people on for
[7:33] 5,000. In terms of additional
[7:35] monetization, I would look at
[7:38] hiregoats.com. And I don't know why
[7:40] they're giving people free promotion
[7:41] here. I don't know why they're not
[7:43] promoting their goats on the go people
[7:44] who are actually paying them money for
[7:46] it. That to me seems like a missed
[7:48] opportunity and you could technically
[7:50] charge additional to be listed on both
[7:53] directories as opposed to giving it to
[7:55] everyone else for free. So I would
[7:58] probably start there. So another thing
[8:00] that I think they should do is they
[8:02] should be looking for other keyword
[8:03] opportunities where they can rank and
[8:05] attract their potential customers. So if
[8:08] we look at keywords explorer and I'm
[8:10] going to just try to find ideas that
[8:13] their client's target audience would be
[8:15] interested in. Okay, so something like
[8:17] what do goats eat? What we know about
[8:19] the person searching for this is that
[8:21] they own a goat. Maybe they own a lot of
[8:24] goats. By attracting 6,700 monthly
[8:27] searches, they're attracting a ton more
[8:30] business who they can then try and
[8:32] funnel into their whole affiliate
[8:33] program, make another 2400 to 5 grand
[8:36] off of that person. I would be creating
[8:38] blog content on what goats eat, why do
[8:41] goats faint. These are all queries that
[8:43] you can find using a keyword research
[8:45] tool. This could easily be turned around
[8:47] into 400 to $500,000 a year. So yeah, I
[8:51] really hope that they're going to sell
[8:53] this to me. Man, I really hope I get the
[8:57] site. So, did he
[9:00] respond? No. Radio silence. But that's
[9:03] not the point. The real lesson here is
[9:06] in the takeaways. And there are two huge
[9:08] ones here. Number one, if you operate a
[9:11] business that's traditionally done
[9:12] offline, there's likely a huge
[9:14] opportunity for you online because
[9:17] there's probably little to no
[9:19] competition. And I can bet you that
[9:21] people are searching for your products
[9:22] and services every single month.
[9:24] Takeaway number two, one person's trash
[9:27] is another person's treasure. The
[9:29] commerciality of a keyword depends
[9:31] largely on what you're selling, not the
[9:33] keyword you're trying to rank for.
[9:35] Renting a goat isn't a super lucrative
[9:37] keyword, but higher goats and goats on
[9:39] the go aren't actually selling goat
[9:41] rentals. They're selling business
[9:43] training and that makes their keyword
[9:45] rankings lucrative because their
[9:46] customers want those rankings for their
[9:49] business which they can buy for a small
[9:51] price. Ranking in Google is a super
[9:54] valuable way to drive customers to your
[9:56] business. And if you want to learn how
