[0:00] if your content is terrible it probably
[0:02] came from Fiverr as the running joke of
[0:03] the SEO industry it's easy to dismiss
[0:06] Fiverr altogether but what if we've all
[0:08] been using Fiverr the wrong way if we
[0:11] all search for a service and purchase
[0:13] from one of the top listed gigs with the
[0:14] most reviews then aren't we all just
[0:17] buying from the same Freelancers We
[0:18] complain about but what would happen if
[0:20] I did things differently and bought zero
[0:22] rated Fiverr SEO gigs would these just
[0:24] be the same junk or worse or could these
[0:28] be the hidden gems I need to rank a new
[0:30] website to the first page of Google for
[0:33] pennies on the dollar I had to find out
[0:35] so I fired up a new golf affiliate blog
[0:38] and went searching for zero rated
[0:39] Freelancers who could Skyrocket my blog
[0:41] to the first page of Google all right so
[0:44] first things first we need to choose a
[0:45] topic to rank four and the way to do
[0:47] that is with a keyword research gig and
[0:49] to find our zero rated gigs I'm going to
[0:51] sort by new arrivals oh wow there's
[0:54] actually a lot to choose from since
[0:55] there weren't any reviews to go off of I
[0:58] had to find another way to vet these
[0:59] freelan ERS because I knew that if our
[1:01] freelancer did keyword research wrong or
[1:04] used bad data then everything else will
[1:07] end up in disaster all right so there's
[1:09] no way for me to know whether a keyword
[1:11] research gig is going to be good or not
[1:13] but I can verify if they're using a good
[1:16] data source so I'm going to message
[1:18] everyone and ask which SEO tool they use
[1:21] because there's only one that can be
[1:24] trusted and within minutes of sending
[1:26] these Freelancers messages the answers
[1:28] came rolling in all right so three of
[1:30] these Freelancers are using ATS we have
[1:32] Ali Abid and seon and as atre users I
[1:36] want to support them and help Kickstart
[1:38] their careers on Fiverr but I don't
[1:41] really know who's going to be the best
[1:42] at keyword research yet after a few
[1:44] minutes of pondering the answer was
[1:47] right in front of me no literally it was
[1:49] in his name so I sent him a message
[1:51] giving my vote of confidence and
[1:53] proceeded to spend what I thought would
[1:55] be the best
[1:57] $828 of my life but it didn't take long
[2:00] to realize that my $8 investment was
[2:03] about to take a very unexpected turn
[2:06] these keyword difficulty scores
[2:08] definitely aren't from ATS and the
[2:10] search volumes look kind of fishy too so
[2:13] I took the first batch of keywords and
[2:15] ran them through atrs keywords Explorer
[2:17] what the heck the search volumes and
[2:19] keyword difficulty scores weren't from
[2:21] atfs and after checking a few other SEO
[2:24] tools the numbers weren't from there
[2:26] either so I was led to believe that
[2:28] these metrics were compl completely made
[2:30] up okay okay so feeling a bit betrayed
[2:34] but I called him out and he just
[2:37] responded get this you're right because
[2:39] my at's account was suspended hm this
[2:42] search volume is collected from SE this
[2:45] tool is the same as
[2:48] ATS next a bid said I collect data from
[2:53] ATS good enough for me let's go a bid
[2:56] but I couldn't help but feel a bit
[2:57] nervous after purchasing the gig all
[2:59] right so I just told a bid that if his
[3:02] data won't come from ATS then to just
[3:05] cancel the order and I'm probably just
[3:07] being paranoid here but oh he's
[3:09] messaging back sorry to say I recently
[3:12] use Sam
[3:14] rash I like him but next I was beginning
[3:18] to feel like everyone was right about
[3:20] Fiverr for SEO how could I possibly rank
[3:23] number one with zero rated Fiverr gigs
[3:25] if I can't even get past step one in the
[3:28] SEO process cion was my final hope I
[3:31] made my purchase submitted the details
[3:33] of my website and nothing could have
[3:35] prepared me for what was about to happen
[3:38] so it's come to my attention that Sean
[3:42] has no idea how F works like I asked him
[3:47] the same question as it bid in his
[3:49] response hello dear you told me to work
[3:52] on ATS I'm ready to work if you want we
[3:55] can proceed with work I will give you
[3:58] all the facilities an until the work is
[4:00] done I will help you I will help you I
[4:04] am waiting for you thank you and 10
[4:06] messages later he asks me how can you
[4:09] budget for this
[4:10] job I've already made the purchase after
[4:13] spending the next day explaining how F
[4:15] works I decided this project wasn't
[4:18] worth my time anymore so I left him with
[4:20] my final message if you do not
[4:23] understand please cancel my order and
[4:25] his response gave me the confirmation I
[4:28] needed it was time to call it
[4:31] quits but that all change the next
[4:33] morning so I got this email from Sean
[4:37] and I'm expecting some kind of
[4:39] cancellation confirmation but then I
[4:41] open it and all that's inside the email
[4:45] is a link to a Google doc and by some
[4:49] miraculous divine
[4:51] intervention he actually pulled it off
[4:54] cion had found keywords for my golf
[4:56] affiliate site that look more
[4:57] appropriate and while the data probably
[4:59] didn't come from HRS or any tool for
[5:01] that matter just like the other gig I
[5:04] cleaned it up in 2 minutes using
[5:05] keywords Explorer and was ready to buy
[5:08] the next gig which might get me into a
[5:10] bit of trouble with Google AI content
[5:13] now let's have a moment of realness here
[5:15] no one's going to spend an hour creating
[5:17] content for $5 when they can just go and
[5:21] generate a free blog post with chat GPT
[5:24] and I found the perfect person for the
[5:26] job mesba mesba isn't new to Fiverr and
[5:29] in fact he already has one five-star
[5:31] review from 4 years ago where he made
[5:34] $150 for a consultation so my
[5:37] expectations were a lot higher than the
[5:40] previous gig so this so-called premium
[5:43] 800w AI content gig with zero reviews
[5:47] seems like a no-brainer instab buy and I
[5:50] didn't have to wait long to get the post
[5:52] back from mesba okay so my man mesba gig
[5:56] promised an 800w blog post but check
[5:59] this out he overd delivered with a500w
[6:02] article and he even took the time to run
[6:05] it through grammarly mes freaking ba
[6:09] loving the effort here but when I opened
[6:11] the word document my confidence in
[6:13] ranking number one took a nose dive okay
[6:15] so I've read some bad AI content but
[6:19] this one is on another level like who
[6:22] says fear not dear golfer for I am here
[6:25] to guide you through the world of face
[6:27] balance cters with my top Rec
[6:29] commendations or your putting stroke is
[6:33] like a delicate dance on the greens now
[6:35] I know this isn't a huge deal in the
[6:38] grand scheme of things but what may
[6:40] actually prevent me from ranking high is
[6:42] that the post doesn't really give what
[6:45] Searchers want to see quick reviews and
[6:48] comparisons of different face balance
[6:50] Putters instead we've got like 400 plus
[6:54] words of fluff before we even get to
[6:56] talking about different models I didn't
[6:58] have time to overthink things so I just
[7:00] published the article as is submitted a
[7:02] request for indexing in Google search
[7:04] console and added it to a rank tracking
[7:06] project in ATS and just a couple of days
[7:09] later the page was indexed in Google it
[7:12] was time to move on to arguably the most
[7:15] important and expensive Fiverr gig of
[7:17] this entire challenge backlinks
[7:20] backlinks have been and still are one of
[7:22] Google's most prominent ranking signals
[7:25] and when a page gets quality links
[7:27] traffic and rankings usually come come
[7:29] with it like if Golf Digest or some
[7:33] other golf Authority linked to my putter
[7:35] guide my page would have a good chance
[7:38] of just rocketing up to the first page
[7:41] of Google but getting quality backlinks
[7:44] isn't that easy because you either need
[7:47] to a create some great content and get
[7:49] it in front of bloggers and journalists
[7:52] and then somehow convince them to link
[7:54] to you or B you can buy them I reached
[7:58] out to about 85 link Builders 6 gig
[8:01] showed absolutely no promise but the
[8:03] other two actually seemed pretty
[8:05] experienced and sent me nearly 400
[8:08] domains I could get a link from and
[8:10] after running all the domains through HF
[8:12] batch analysis I was absolutely stunned
[8:15] by the metrics on some of these domains
[8:17] so I'm looking at one of these sites in
[8:19] site Explorer and the traffic the
[8:21] website Authority and backlink profiles
[8:24] are all pretty strong but pan Down Bam
[8:28] the traffic dropped of death the
[8:30] majority of traffic profiles of the
[8:31] websites looked exactly like this and I
[8:34] definitely didn't want to get links from
[8:36] sites that were built with Spam content
[8:38] and Google clearly knew it but it wasn't
[8:41] long until I found a strong and relevant
[8:43] site with around 300,000 monthly organic
[8:46] visits and while the seller warned me
[8:47] that prices are high on sites with high
[8:50] traffic like this one I had to give in
[8:52] for the price of $10 instab bu so I just
[8:57] paid for this gig and right after after
[8:59] I looked more carefully at the sample
[9:01] link that the seller sent me and it
[9:03] turns out he's selling links on no index
[9:07] Pages meaning these links are
[9:09] essentially dead even after their life I
[9:13] immediately told them about my Discovery
[9:15] and what he said shook me to the core
[9:18] give me only one chance I will index
[9:20] your article if your article will not be
[9:23] indexed then I will refund your payment
[9:26] I had never received a guarantee with
[9:28] this kind of confid Ence from someone on
[9:30] Fiverr and even though I didn't think he
[9:32] could pull it off I had nothing to lose
[9:34] so I agreed while our link Builder went
[9:36] to work I moved on to the next zero
[9:38] rated SEO gig a technical SEO audit
[9:42] technical SEO often gets ignored but
[9:44] it's important because it's what sets
[9:46] the foundation for your site and I found
[9:48] just the person to do an SEO audit for
[9:51] my site meet anal he's been a Fiverr
[9:53] freelancer since April this year and
[9:55] he's apparently a gold medalist rank
[9:58] holder and a un University level silver
[10:00] medalist his gig promises 100 slides 150
[10:04] metrics and actionables of improvement
[10:07] but what I really wanted to find out was
[10:09] if anal will just run my site through a
[10:12] tool and paste a bunch of screenshots in
[10:14] his slide or if he'd manually look
[10:17] through data and use his expertise to
[10:20] give me useful advice that's going to
[10:22] make my site more technically sound the
[10:25] only way to know was to plant some traps
[10:28] so trap number one I'm going to add the
[10:30] no index tag to a blog post which
[10:33] definitely shouldn't have it and no
[10:35] index tags basically tell Google not to
[10:38] include the page in Google search and
[10:40] this should stand out like a sore thumb
[10:42] for any SEO professional now for trap
[10:45] two I'm going to be a bit trickier and
[10:47] I'm going to generate an atre Lang tag
[10:50] and set the default language to Spanish
[10:53] in the default country to Afghanistan
[10:56] even though my content is in English and
[10:59] this should be automatically detected if
[11:01] and when he crawls my sight with his
[11:03] tool of choice now for the third trap I
[11:06] need something that's not going to show
[11:08] up as an error in a
[11:12] tool hm for the rest of the day I tried
[11:15] coming up with a perfect trap to catch
[11:17] animal but all the ideas it came up with
[11:20] would have automatically been found in
[11:22] the issues report in h site
[11:25] audit he stop it became clear what I
[11:29] needed to do okay so I've got it I am
[11:33] going to change the title of my homepage
[11:35] to poo poo bum crack anal can find this
[11:39] with any technical SEO tool he doesn't
[11:41] even need a tool to discover this so if
[11:44] he doesn't catch this then I will know
[11:47] how much manual work was really put into
[11:50] this audit I paid for the audit and gave
[11:52] anal the details conveniently I got a
[11:55] message shortly after with an update for
[11:57] my guest post Okay so I just got a
[12:00] message from a backlinks Fiverr gig and
[12:02] it doesn't look like it's going to work
[12:03] out he said I wanted to inform you about
[12:05] the current situation regarding the
[12:07] guest post you requested on this site
[12:09] unfortunately due to some issues the
[12:12] website has not been indexing new posts
[12:14] for the past 5 to 6 months but I kind of
[12:18] saw this coming and I actually asked him
[12:20] about getting a link on another site
[12:22] that he can publish on the only catch
[12:25] it's going to cost
[12:26] $35 and I'm in within a couple of days
[12:29] the guest post was published and indexed
[12:32] and soon after our page made a glorious
[12:35] entry into the top 100 for our Target
[12:37] keyword so a few more days have passed
[12:39] and it looks like we're going to stay in
[12:41] the top 100 but no one knows for sure so
[12:44] my plan from here is to wait it out for
[12:47] a bit longer and see if we can get a
[12:49] first page ranking with everything as is
[12:52] and if we can't we'll figure it out it's
[12:57] animal I brace myself for a double click
[13:00] that could potentially change my view on
[13:02] Fiverr SEO gigs forever H it's not bad
[13:06] it's branded with a website logo colors
[13:08] and it has 43 slides but as I began to
[13:12] scroll through the report it was
[13:13] apparent that this audit was nothing
[13:15] more than a bunch of screenshots and
[13:18] pasted data from an SEO tool and the
[13:20] data seemed just really off but the most
[13:23] important thing that I wanted to know
[13:25] was if he had found our three Easter
[13:28] eggs so I went through everything in
[13:31] this report to see how many Easter eggs
[13:34] enal found and in total he
[13:38] found a resounding zero days passed and
[13:42] not much changed in fact we had a huge
[13:45] communication issue and we published the
[13:47] second page on the same topic knocking
[13:49] our original post out of the top 100 oh
[13:53] man I frantically tried to fix the issue
[13:56] and after nearly a month of waiting
[13:58] nothing happened Google still wouldn't
[14:00] rank our original page back into the top
[14:02] 100 so there was only one thing left to
[14:05] do fine I'll do it myself I rewrote the
[14:10] post using the same method that's
[14:12] consistently gotten me number one Google
[14:14] rankings and 4 days later I reclaimed my
[14:17] spot back in the top 100 but as days
[14:20] turned to weeks and movements and
[14:22] rankings stagnated I realized there was
[14:24] a key piece to the SEO puzzle that I'd
[14:27] missed it was then that I realized
[14:29] my worst nightmare had come
[14:32] true so I looked at the search results
[14:34] for our Target keyword and I realized
[14:37] that I was just blindly trusting data
[14:39] from the zero rated keyword research gig
[14:42] and as a result I completely skipped
[14:44] over who we'd be up against and it just
[14:47] so happens that I'm trying to outrank
[14:49] some of the biggest golf manufacturers
[14:51] e-commerce sites and blogs with a brand
[14:54] new site that's made up of cheap AI
[14:56] content these zero rated gigs were no
[14:59] better but no worse than five-star rated
[15:01] gigs I've previously bought as the
[15:04] project manager of this campaign I fell
[15:06] short because I neglected the
[15:07] fundamentals of SEO and built
[15:10] unrealistic hopes that a bunch of
[15:12] unconnected Freelancers would somehow
[15:14] create the perfect campaign and get me
[15:17] top ranking results so I'm going to go
[15:19] back to watch our free SEO course for
[15:21] beginners and you should too if you want
[15:23] to get free and consistent traffic from
[15:26] Google
