[0:15] H s site Explorer so we're going to
[0:20] start off in google and we're going to
[0:23] put in a very simple search query I'm
[0:25] gonna look for best healthy eating blogs
[0:37] you
[1:21] see that's queer high quality sites got
[1:23] domain rating of 56 which means that a
[1:26] getting a link from that to your website
[1:28] is going to be quite useful for your
[1:30] rankings and next thing I'm going to do
[1:34] I'm going to go to outgoing links and
[1:37] search for broken links so click on
[1:41] broken links under outgoing links we can
[1:46] see interesting discovered five hundred
[1:49] and eighty-three pages I have broken
[1:52] links on them on this particular site
[1:55] now you can see a lot of these I've got
[1:58] this so just well it looks like a bit
[2:04] like a stop smoking icon this actually
[2:06] means that it's a nofollow link which
[2:10] there's been a blog probably these are
[2:12] gonna be a lot of comment links and so
[2:14] what we'll do we'll come back to these
[2:16] these are actually useful as well but
[2:18] for the moment are more interested in
[2:20] links from within content so I'm going
[2:23] to change this to do follow so link tape
[2:25] to follow which means that the links are
[2:28] more likely to be editorial in content
[2:38] you
[3:48] broken to the old content but that's
[3:52] just--that's bisa the start of the
[3:53] process now i'm going to show you how
[3:55] using one site or at least field skill
[3:58] this up and pain hundreds if not
[4:00] thousands of opportunities so we'll go
[4:05] back into each chef's site explorer into
[4:09] the same report and what I'm gonna do
[4:11] now is I'm just gonna for one of these

[4:27] pointing to this particular broken link
[4:31] here so in addition to this page there's
[4:36] another sixty five links that are
[4:38] pointing to this page and I can just
[4:42] have a look at them by clicking on
[4:45] backlinks and there you can see all the
[4:50] pages that are linking to that
[4:52] particular broken link and there's quite
[4:57] a lot of them so so if we were to
[4:59] recreate a piece of content there's this
[5:01] crack in Chancellor to reach out to all
[5:02] these sites tell them about the broken
[5:05] link and point them to our own resource
[5:06] that we should get some some link so
[5:08] that and they're all going to be
[5:09] high-quality you can see here we go to
[5:12] me and ratings 56 52 59 so some really
[5:15] nice high authority sites that are
[5:18] linking through to that old expired page

[5:22] and basically we could just repeat that
[5:25] process with the next broken link find
[5:31] out whose link in there create something
[5:33] similar point them to that so we can
[5:35] quickly and quickly see we could scale
[5:37] that up quite nicely
[5:40] no I mentioned I was going to go back to
[5:42] comment links so well sure you know is
[5:45] Jesus back to all so now we can see the
[5:50] nor follow links from comments again and
[5:52] what these normally family comment links
[5:55] are actually expired domains as opposed
[5:57] to before afford content expired or or
[6:00] no longer no longer active slash
[6:03] maintained so this one here whale time
[6:07] calm if I click on it we can see yeah
[6:11] it's it's gone which is fine and we can
[6:19] just hover over here particularly good
[6:22] that referring domains we can see
[6:24] there's actually 72 failing domains
[6:27] right into the site and again there's a
[6:35] nice high authority links there so good
[6:38] opportunity for us to if we created a
[6:40] piece of content similar to what was on
[6:42] there or you know we could find out what
[6:45] these links were pointing to by clicking
[6:48] on backlinks it looks like this is a
[6:51] Jamaican you jerk marinade recipe so we
[6:54] could just basically create similar
[6:55] content for each oh and there's more
[6:58] like speaking drop no you probably want
[7:01] to keep all this information in the
[7:02] spreadsheet so each time you do you find
[7:06] a new site you may just want to export
[7:09] export this out and start collecting all
[7:11] this information you can see the quite
[7:13] quickly you're going to get hundreds and
[7:15] hundreds of potential link keys from one
[7:19] one broken link
[7:29] you
[7:59] like the Lord of the Lincoln to say
[8:01] there's no longer there in fact there's
[8:03] no plate into something that which might
[8:05] be harmful to one of their own visitors
[8:08] and we can see there's some high quality
[8:10] links there so as I said we can just
[8:16] reach out to these sites let them know
[8:17] the link into a malware site and pointer
[8:21] or incite slash resources in the same
[8:23] time you can see there's you know
[8:29] there's lots and lots of the mains here
[8:30] that are no longer active checking these
[8:34] dates actually gives us an indication
[8:36] the older actually the more likely that
[8:41] it's definitely still gone well these
[8:46] 2016 there's one for 2015 to Instagram
[8:49] but

[8:59] lots and lots enough opportunity just
[9:01] from looking at one website I just
[9:04] punched in a couple of kooks calm and to
[9:06] say Explorer and from that one site we
[9:09] found lots and lots of opportunities to
[9:11] build some high quality backlinks and
[9:15] obviously the next step we could do is
[9:16] just once we exhausted that just move on
[9:18] to the next one
[9:19] it's prating
[9:28] you
[9:37] and again we've got 26 pages here broken
[9:40] like so lots more opportunity so that's
