成年人要有基本自尊和常识，好东西哭不到，人生也没有早知道。
做学生就多考分，做成人就多挣钱，这样尊严才可以多一点。
——我离取得至少101分的托福考试只剩08天。
周五早上好，我整天都在学习英语，自己发现了三件事情，写出来可能大家都知道，但是亲身体会还是不一样的。
01 再喜欢的事情，也难免有厌倦的时候，这个时候休息一下是最好的选择了，否则继续下去状态会很差。其实大脑和身体也会自动做出选择——渴了饿了要吃饭，尤其是快到饭点时，有时候就算不饿也想吃点东西，但是学进去时，面对自己的练习量和待完成的任务，还是觉得时间过得很快的，这就进入了心流效应，非常专注不会乱吃乱喝玩其他了。
只有亲身体会才会自我总结而不是复述他人的话。
02 在觉得任务难以完成时，或对目标期望颇高，就会觉得吃饭睡觉是一件很麻烦的事情。不是说临时抱佛脚而仓促准备，即使时间充分我们也会比较拖拉，完成效率不高质量不达标要求不够心存侥幸，最后总觉得快没时间了，似乎尽早一点去做就好了，似乎之前实在不应该浪费时间，但是没有似乎没有如果只有现在立刻马上就去做，否则任务不会自动完成的。

03 吃饭睡觉运动等基本的作息还是要保证的，不然学习效率更低。高质量的练习需要高质量的休息。但是饭后睡前总想玩一会，这样才能进入学习状态。因为这是被打断了吧，与此相似的是，即使任务再辛苦，开了头之后，自然就觉得很正常了，因为已经习惯了，不管是做俯卧撑还是写作还是练习口语还是硬着头皮去看绕口的英语。
只有自己努力去实现吧，过程再辛苦结果不达标，也只能证明自己实力差劲，而不是觉得世界不公平人生太难熬。

Many times we encounterquestions during the studying process, and everyone has tendency to ask someoneelse for explanation varies. But provided teachers and classmates for me tolearn from, I would prefer the former. Reasons for this choice abound, but the experience and guidance stand out.
Start with experience.Clearly, fellow students possess the same level as us, all exposed in classesat around the same time while teachers are equipped with more years ofresearching the knowledge and thus at a higher level. Take a difficult questionfor example, one may be quite confused and the other knows how to answer. It has been a common practice that the latter tells the right way to solve thequestion to the former. But for teachers, they know why students do notunderstand, what the problems are and how to solve this type of confusion. Andtherefore the one could never fear all the same kind of questions after turningin to the teachers.
Next comes the role ofguidance. Let us say, you cannot figure out how to improve your working skills,deal with inter-personal relationships and earn more money. These could be alsodisturbing your co-workers. So it is not proper to bother them more. It is wiseto counsel the supervisor and it is this person who determines your salary.Co-works may get angry and yourfriendship, if it ever exists, could be soured. But the boss is never too satisfied for his excellent employees.Chances are very high that you can acquire a clear path of your futurecareer whether you have a conversation with your employer. Chances are even higher that you both end up fighting or a cold-war aftertalking about the stagnant income. Besides, if you are stepping into a wrongway during the work, the manager could not be more concerned about yourperformance because this does matter with the whole companies' life and death.
Supporters of learning from fellow students may argue that they can exchangetheir opinions and thoughts, for the sake of various perspectives fromdifferent people. Considering the communications with others may soundplausible, but as far as we takethe study goals intoaccount, as far as we put the work efficiency into consideration, seeking guidance from teachers and supervisorsseems much more beneficial.
All in all, I strongly believewe should seek guidance from our supervisors or teachers so that we couldensure the right answer. And therefore we could learn more efficiently and effectively.

我不知道自己之前怎么只写了四段话，一般这需要五段的，首段引出论点，两个主体段理由论证，第四段让步，末端呼应开头。所以我重新简单写了两句话加上去了。看似积攒了许多句型，其实都没进脑子里，真正下笔时，要么看着笔记本能写几个，要么突然蹦出个句型就用上了。而且举例论证在平常看时都很幼稚，真到写时优质的例子全都想不起来了。练习太少都知道，但下笔确实太难。慢慢来。

Learning is a continuous process and we learn from multiple sources. Some lessons can be learned better from peers and some can be better understood from experienced persons. Whether we learn better from those at our same level or from one at higher level, is largely determined by type of learning. Learning specialized knowledge could be learned easily from experienced persons. While learning social skills can be understood better by observing our friends.
In order to learn some specialized knowledge, we need to learn from the person who is adapt at imparting knowledge about it. For instance, the subject like math can only be learned from an experienced teacher. One needs to have in depth knowledge about the subject. In such case our friends won't be able to help us to learn the concepts. They will be at the same level as us and so they can't help us to understand something new. Similarly if we want to learn some new skills, we can only seek help of [seek guidance from] someone who has used those skills. For instance, I wish to learn surf boarding. None of my friends knows about it. So in such case I have no option but to learn from an trained person in using it. Thus I have to look for help from person who is at a higher level than me in that skill. Moreover when we take a new job we won't be accustomed to the new environment. It may be possible that most employees in our division are newly hired. In such scenario, we can't look up to [turn to] them to help us settle in new environment. Here the supervisor will be able to help us. As he would have got to this high post only after getting some experience in the company, he will be able to help us with adjusting to new environment of company.
On the other hand, some things are such that we can't have special classes for them. They can only learned by observing people around us. For instance, if we go to a new country that we will have to observe traditions of that country. We can only learn about such skills by observing our friends or co-workers at work place. By gradually observing them we can fit into the new culture. As learning about cultures needs us to be present in wide range of scenario, only friends can help us with that. To further illustrate the point, consider a scenario where we want to learn a new language. Here the instructor can help by giving basic information about language, but he won't be able to cover the full depth. The actual use of language can only be learned if we interact with people using that language in daily life.
We can find many sources of inspiration from which we can learn new things and skills. Who can be considered as the best teacher can only be determined by type of skills we need to learn. Skills requiring specialized training can be learned better from an experienced person, but skills used in day to day life can be best learned from people around us who use them regularly.

全篇最突出的一点是，定冠词the全没了，所以斜体加划线的都是我读过加上去的。另一点是论证太过绝对，用了许多绝对词only, such, 换成better会好一点，但是例子还是不符合现实情况。连我自己写作文举例都有点不符常识。一个比较好的解决办法是反面论证，用虚拟语气来说。

Learning plays a pivotal role in people’s lives. It maintains their knowledge and skills. In order to gain more knowledge, we have to pursue information whenever we can. Some people believe that people can learn things better from those at their own level students or coworkers. Other people thinks that we have to seek knowledge from specialists people like teachers and supervisors. In my view, we can learn much better from those at a higher level. The following arguments will reveal my stand and reasoning.
The first important point to be mentioned here is that learning from experts is more reliable. We can ensure that any information we get from a good teacher, or a trained supervisor is correct. A vivid example can be mentioned here to shed a light over the subject is my personal experience. I remember from my high school years, I experienced some difficulties in math. At the same time I was shy to ask my teacher. Therefore, I used to ask my friend who, “I mistakenly thought” was better than me in math. She used to answer any questions I ask, even though she was unsure about it. This process led me to a complete confusion in math. Thus, I registered to private classes after school. Those classes made a huge difference to me. The classes were directed by an expert instructor. In fact, he answered every question confidently and directly. Fortunately, I cleared my doubts and caught-up with my original class. This experience taught me that it is much better for a learner to seek information from people with expertise. And the knowledge obtained by them is more reliable.
The second reason is we can learn faster by seeking a specialized teacher or a supervisor. They can guide us how to learn fast through applying strategies. Sometimes people at our own level can help us. But it might be a prolonged way. For instance, when I began to learn English as a second language, I used to ask my friend who was a learner like me. She answered my questions and tried to help me the most. I spent a long time following a self-study method combined with asking friends. This way of learning didn’t lead me to a remarkable improve. Thus, I enrolled to ESL specialist classes. In fact the instructor was amazing; he gave us astonishing strategies to understand new concepts fast and affectively. In a short period of time I raised my level dramatically. This improvement wouldn’t be achieved without seeking a knowledgeable, and an expert teacher. As you can clearly see. Learning from people at the same level is an insufficient way to learn.
To sum up, I believe that if we want to learn better we have to follow people with expertise like teachers and supervisors. They can teach us reliable and trust-worthy information. Also, they can raise our knowledge level fast, through latest strategies. We should save our time and learn the good way how to gain knowledge properly.

这一篇相当不错了，几乎没有语法错误，运用了一个地道表达，举的两个例子而已非常恰当，可能这正如例子中所说，是找了老师的缘故吧。全篇四段，开头略显拖沓，其实两三句话就够了，但是考虑到他没有写让步段，所以算是在背景信息上凑字数。主体段是两句论点，五句写例子。值得学习！

People throughout their lives are always learning novel things everyday. They might learn from other people at their own level. However, I believe that they would learn more pivotal issues from those at a higher level based on their intensive experiences in different aspects including professional, social and educational ones.
First of all, people usually learn more from those with higher level of professional experience. People who have been working for longer period of time have promptly compiled a relevant experiences in their professions. For example; I'm currently working at a software company, and I'm thrilled with the things that I have been learning from my boss, who had been in the job for thirty years. Obviously, during that time, he had been confronted with so many obstacles, and learned a lot of methods that contribute to solving so many business related problems. Therefore, when I sometimes encounter problems in my work, he is the most convenient person to refer to, due to his massive knowledge of ways to solve problems. Thus, he is definitely better than any other co-workers of the same level as mine.
Secondly, from a social aspect, older people inevitably have experienced social affiliated issues to a much larger extent, compared to people of similar age as mine. Let's take my parents for instance; whatever advice they usually offer to me, it would turn out to be the best. It happens several times that I tried to pursue advice from my friends who usually have an equivalent social experiences as mine, and the percussions were never successful. Hence, it is always more logestic to follow the advice of elderly people that have better social experiences.
Finally, educationally speaking, people who are at a higher educational level would undoubtedly render a greater support than those of a similar level. For example: I had an awful experience in one of my exams at the university, when I once studied with one of my classmates, whereby I totally depended on her in explaining all the material that I've missed when I was absent. To my surprise, I failed the exam. However, when the professor had clarified all the misconceived material for me, I made a record in the final exams. Therefore, people certainly benifit more from those who have higher educational experience.
In conclusion, I believe that people who are characterized by a higher professional, social and educational level would be more beneficial to others than people that are almost at the same level.

03 They want $2,500 for it, but they might settke for $2,000.
其中有个句型是
- - settle for sth [not in passive, no obj.]
因此这里第三个句子就不适用这里了，那么这里settle 就是 resolve or reach an agreement about..
因此这句话意思就是，许多事情经常能用大钱摆平，但是新手律师未必能去遵守这种跨越法律底线的规则。
