Some people think that in this modern world, people are getting dependent of each other. But others think modern world gets people more independent of each other. Discuss the both sides and give your own opinion.

Independence

Dependence

• Cooperation in work.

• Social activities to relieve stress.

• The new way of dependence in the technological era.

Even though people are physically separated because of work or other commitments, the prevalence of email, Facebook, Skype, and Wechat provides persuasive evidence of the fact that human need for affection, advice, and assistance from others does not abate, but escalate in the contemporary society.

天才

我的母亲在我考上清华3年后去世了。大概又过去了5年，一位母亲的故交交给了一封我母亲写给她的信。信的大意是：我在学校的成绩很糟糕，对于我们这个工人家庭的小孩来说，考上大学可以改变命运。他知道我的数学很差，跑去找我的数学老师，求他能给我鼓励。

为了我能够获得持续的鼓励，他去我的老师家里打毛衣，在老师家里做保姆照顾老人….

我的生活很欢乐，但我还没有梦想。从没有想过考大学，我总觉得明天还有很多。

直到有一天，我的命运发生了历史性的转变。

我的高中数学老师成立了奥林匹克数学兴趣小组，他当着全班同学的面，点名我也可以参加。这让我非常震惊，我的老师下课后，对我说：尽管你数学还没有考及格，但我觉得你有考上清华的潜质。

大学

如果我回到大一，如果目标是刷GPA的话，我一定要每门课去请教去年最厉害的过来人，包括作业，找出历年的考题，然后勾搭上靠谱的同学，合作做作业/备考，而不是自己从零开始，一人摸索。

学霸的做法：

1.上课有时不听课，刷微信上网

2.逃课

3.会寻找学姐，寻求这门课的高分经验

4.所有作业态度极其认真，会找人讨论（作业都是算入总分的）

5.考前会大量时间刷历年考题

所以，请教优秀的过来人，吸取别人的经验，不要独干，是我目前看到的最高效的方法。

——FG大去年的文章，那是我还是大一下学期，当时把这张截屏奉作圭臬，但自己并未做到，一方面是时间精力，一方面是心思不到位，虽然我现在还是未太在意，我知道这是最好的方法。

在How to deliver a TED talk 里面也提到，观众每次能记住的内容只有三条，所以每个论点不超过三点，很重要，但很难实践，因为我们很容易在实践时，忘记这点，而做到这一点，就可以成为大神了。

考研

考研阅读一项有所谓四大来源的说法;

• 经济类文章主要来源：The Economist, Business Week, Wall Street Journal

• 科学技术类文章主要来源：Nature Discovery， Science，National Geographic，Scientific American，New Scientists

• 社会生活以及文化类文章主要来源：Newsweek，Time，U.S News and World Report, The Washington Post, USA Today, The Times, The guardian, 和 www.usnews.com

• 其他来源：Independent, International Herald Tribune, Telegraph

历史真题的文章来源一般控制在过去的五年之内。

——以前看的一篇奶爸关于考研英语的论断，很久没看他的文章了，也不知为何他不推送消息了，后来才知道自己被拉黑了T_T，可能我是光看文章不赞赏不点赞不转发不分享不评论太贪便宜了，看我下篇文章积极去做吧。

——这次翻出来，发现自己有了很大来源的报刊文章去读，哈哈太棒了，都是精华文章源泉啊
